The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and open to the spacious living room, both featuring vaulted ceilings and modern finishes. Step out the front door and spend your evening soaking in the private hot tub or take a stroll to check-out the town’s amazing restaurants and shops. The Cottage’s central location is less than half a block from Main and Ridge Streets allowing easy access to everything - day or night!

This was the perfect rental property for a long weekend up in Breck! The place is in a perfect location and walking distance from so many good restaurants and shops. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and it was great to have a garage to park our vehicle in. The property was very clean, and we felt right at home. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Breckenridge!

Wonderful Summer in the Mountains

We stayed for 6 weeks during the summer. This cottage was ideally located, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The cottage was spacious with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was very well equipped. We prepared breakfast and lunch almost daily. We even prepared dinner 2 to 3 times a week during our stay. Garage parking was a plus. The management company was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This was one of the better VRBO rentals that we've stayed in.

Great spot in downtown Breck

We had a great snowed in weekend at this 'cabin' (unit, with other units in the same building) which was beautiful and cozy, not to mention highly conveniently located. Beds were comfy, kitchen had the basics we needed, everything worked (though we did not use the hot tub). Property manager was responsive and helpful. Would happily stay again.

Cozy cottage in the heart of town

The rental is centrally located. It has a free bus stop a few steps from the front door that will take you to the gondola. The amenities and supplies were copious. I would recommend this location for a close group of friends or a family.

The cottage was thoroughly stocked. It provided all of the amenities we needed to cook meals for the long weekend. The location is ~50 steps to the bus stop which takes you to the gondola for free. I would stay here again if I were to return to the area.

River Street Cottage served as a very convenient dog friendly location for our ski trip. The location was hard to beat and the rental featured a large living area and back deck with views of the mountain that we really enjoyed. Cons are extremely tight parking for a large SUV in the units shared garage and a shower head that lacked water pressure.

We had a great stay at the cottage. It was roomy and perfect for our family. Couple minor things but the staff was very attentive and responsive. Couldn't be a better location! We were able to walk to everything even with two young kids.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

This little cabin was great for a hiking/ chill weekend in Breck! We loved being able to walk right downtown to get food, and then come back to our home base. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything worked perfectly. It was clean and comfortable. It snowed at least 12" while we were there, and it was the perfect place to stay inside, enjoy each other's company and watch the snow come down. Would recommend, and would stay here again!

We are return guests at Ridge Street Cottage. The location is amazing, you are right in the middle of town with a 1 block buffer between the Cottage and the hustle and bustle of Main St (which can get quite busy during the high tourist times). And the street you are on is a gem! Ridge St is a combination of residences, businesses, great restaurants (often situated in former Victorian homes), a museum, green space, theater, grocery and more. In the evening, when the sun is heading behind the ski area peaks, and the lights on Ridge St are starting stand out in the impending twilight - that is one of my favorite things to see and experience in Breck.Hope to get back soon!

What an amazing cottage! So close to everything! Walked to restaurants and shops. Didn’t need a car. It was very spacious and the little things like a spice rack and plastic storage bags made it seem like home. Will be going back!

Cute cottage close to Main St.

This cottage was the perfect location for our family trip. We walked to everything - Main Street, gondola, trails. All amenities were as stated and fit our needs. Loved having washer/dryer as kids went through their clothes fast. The hot tub was a perfect wind down to our busy days. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Mountain vacay

Condo was great! You are right in the center of all the shops/restaurants so easily walkable go most things. Condo was cozy with a nice hot tub that we took full advantage of! It was also stocked with basic things that normally aren't in my experience with renting through VRBO (plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, detergent, basic spices, coffee filters etc…) so it was nice to not have to go and purchase these items when we got there. Property manager was also super responsive with any questions I had. Something to keep in mind is parking can be a challenge. We had a Chevy Suburban and it took some finesse to get that in our designated spot! Other than that, great stay and cannot wait to come back!

We loved our stay here. It was the first time bringing our dogs and it was perfect for them. Everything is close by and in walking distance. It's a gem tucked behind Main Street. We will definitely be renting again and longer for a much needed break from the Kansas heat.

We arrived after dark and it took a minute to find the property but once we did it was a breeze. The location was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. You could walk wherever you wanted to go. The garage parking was difficult to park because the space was so small and hard to get into but we figured it out and had a great time! Would definitely book this place again!

Ridge Street Cottage is our favorite place to stay in Breckenridge. You are centrally located and can walk almost anywhere in the town. But, when you want to get away from the action, the cottage is nestled on a quiet alley street where you can have some peace and quiet if that's what you desire.The hot tub is the centerpiece. It is large, clean and well maintained. The temp was always 104 or 105, no worries there. There is a walkway nearby and some businesses, but foot traffic is minimal and you should have all the privacy you need.The kitchen is well stocked with a convection oven, blender, all the flatware and drinkware you will need. The fridge is large, clean and works great. Plenty of paper items are provided.Windows are all over the walls so you can get a lot of natural light as the sun moves across the sky behind the TV-side (south wall). Our Chihuahua likes to track the sunbeams as they move across the floor. And you can draw shades at night for privacy.There is radiant floor heat that works very well. And the fireplace is a nice supplemental heating source. Can't wait to return to Ridge Street Cottage!

This place felt like home away from home. When we were ready to relax after a day of sight seeing or strolling downtown, we didn’t feel guilty about not being “on the go.” This darling place was perfect and had everything we needed.

Overall my wife and I had a wonderful time at the Ridge Street Cottage when we stayed for 3 weeks over the Christmas and New Year's vacation. Pros: -Pet friendly!-The location is very central to Breckenridge Main Street and walkable to the local dog park-The garage parking was a huge plus on snowy days-The high ceilings and open floor plan make for a very high-end environment-The management company was very responsive, even as they were dealing with staffing shortages due to COVIDCons:-The property had a few areas that you could tell had worn over the years, which led to some maintenance issues (exa: fridge, shower head, blinds, etc), but every time we mentioned something to the management company, they were quick to respond.-The hot tub (and entrance to the property) is right across from the management company's office, so there were multiple days when stacks of boxes and even a set of tires were sitting right next to the hot tub.-The quality of the linens/bedding was very poor given that this is a higher-end property.-Since this is close to Main Street and many restaurants, the snow plows and garbage trucks come by just about every morning at 5 or 6 am, and it'd be tough to sleep through the noise if you're not used to it.Overall a great property that we would love to stay at again in the future.

Honeymoon in Breck

Really great place to stay. Located in a great spot right near Main Street and within walking distance of tons of great restaurants and shops. The place was clean, hot tub was great and had all the basics. We had an issue with the fireplace the first night and their crew took care of it within minutes of me calling. The only thing I would’ve liked to see is a better shower head. The one currently installed looks like a buy off a TikTok ad, and didn’t work super well, especially if you’re showering together ;)

We rented the Ridge Street Cottage for a month again this year (rented in 2020 for a month also). My wife and I love the location in downtown Breckenridge. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. Our golden retriever loves joining us for these trips. We will stay again.

We really enjoyed the unit. The location was fantastic for walkability to anything in the town of Breckenridge, really in the heart of it all. We found the kitchen had the basics we needed for a short 4 night stay, we didn't cook much, only breakfast. The coffee provided was a nice touch and we used the brewer in the unit every day of our stay. Furnishings are okay, I wouldn't give them the highest rating in the comfort department but we'd stay here again anyway because it was everything we needed, especially dog friendly, cozy, prime location, secure parking included, and the price was right. Large open layout and the private hot tub was the best amenity. Only real complaint was having old trash left out in front of the unit, it seems like trash wasn't getting picked up just stacking up before and during our time there. Although it was July, we were comfortable and didn't have issues with the temps without central AC. Can't wait to rent this unit again.

This is a great rental. We spent 2 weeks here end of June and early July. It has everything you might need. Management was very responsive and friendly. Plenty of room for 3 people and our two labs. The open concept design was really nice. It made the condo feel like it was a single family home. If there was something I could suggest to management, it would be to check the windows. We had trouble opening and closing some and it is so nice to feel the mountain air with the windows open. One was off it's track and needs immediate attention. This is a minor issue and easily addressed. Really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Ridge Street Cottage.

Fantastic cottage right in the middle of everything, easy walk down to Main St, easy walk home from end of Four O’clock run as well. Bus stop right by on Ridge St makes for an easy start taking you straight to the Gondola (or you could also walk 0.5mi to either Quicksilver lift or the Gondola). Great use of space, excellent kitchen and living space plus dining table and ample room for skis and boots at the entrance on the slate floor. And we loved the hot tub. The stairs to the loft are tight and I wouldn’t have kids under 4 or 5 up there, but our 6 yo was fine. This place has it all and we would love to stay here again. As a repeat renter using River Ridge Rentals I would recommend the team as well, very responsive albeit this time we didn’t need anything!

Great location! The cottage was just as pictured and seemed bigger to us than it appeared on the VRBO website. We cooked a couple dinners at the condo and found everything we needed to do so. I was grateful for the washer and dryer!! There is a small market a block and a half away and that was very convenient as well! We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the cottage. The furniture is comfortable and stylish. The kitchen is well equipped so cooking thanksgiving dinner was doable. The hot tub was a great addition-worked well! The loft is very cute but tight quarters and the circular staircase requires steady footwork. We had a problem with the fireplace but it was fixed the next day. After it was fixed, we used it every day which made the cottage very cozy. The location is the best part, close to main st. and not far from the bus stop for skiing. Parking was a breeze- covered heated garage. We will definitely come back.

Me, my wife, and 2 kids really enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was perfect other then I would have liked a pull out bed in the couch for my kids to sleep on. The upstairs is very dangerous for young children so I didn't allow them to go up there. We just pushed the 2 couches together and made a bed for them. The higher elevation took some getting used to, being from east texas. This trip was definitely a bucket list trip. My kids wanted to see snow and they got just that. I would definitely revisit and stay in the same place

We always enjoy going to Breck and really enjoyed our stay in this upstairs cottage. The cottage sits next door to a restaurant and atop the offices of an escape room company. No noise issues from either. There is some early morning noise from waste management trucks but otherwise a quiet stay. The trade-off, though, is that you're right in the middle of downtown Breck and no walk at all to the town center and restaurants, shops, etc. The cottage is beautifully decorated and one of the best stocked and best equipped of any property we've stayed in. Automated check-in and access to the property could not have been better. The cottage was a great value as well, especially considering proximity to the downtown district.
