We didn't want to leave! Felt like home. Kitchen was perfectly equipped to whip up a breakfast. It was such a cute place and walked to everything within like 5 mins. Beautiful views out the windows. Nice little grassy area for the dog. Only things were the larger bed downstairs was very hard and it was quite warm in there, would've loved a ceiling fan. Downstairs shower was beautifully remodeled but not clean.

The French Street never disappoints! This is the third year we have rented here. The cottage is comfortable and has all the amenities you need to enjoy a great time skiing at Breckenridge. Comfortable beds, nice soaking tub, enough space in the living room for a movie or family game time. The views and sun drenched living room makes it ideal for relaxing during the day.

We really enjoyed our stay and always love Breckenridge. The living space is a little tight, but the kitchen is high-end and very functional. Having a garage is also a big plus. We would definitely return.

Rented this little gem for a month while skiing at Breckenridge. Easy walk into town, gondola and Blue bus route. The French Street Cottage had everything we needed. The property manager is great and easy to contact if you need anything. The kitchen and living area are comfortable. The place gets good sunlight and a nice views. Would absolutely rent this place again.

We loved staying in French Street Cottage! While there were only two of us, it's perfect size for a family of 4, and you can bring your furry friend! Location is awesome and it's an easy walk to anywhere in town. Everything you need for a quick getaway or extended vacation. River Ridge does a great job and great communication too. We rented the French Street Cottage for a month while skiing at Breckenridge. The house has everything you need to be comfortable on an extended stay. There were a few things we needed in the kitchen and the rental management company provided those with in a few hours of our request. The house is sunny and has great views. Beds are comfortable. Quick walk to town, gondola and Blue bus route.

We had a great stay in your house. There were three of us so it was just the right size for us. It was very comfortable with all the necessities. A couple things: 1) couldn’t get the heating down in the downstairs bathroom and 2) needed to open windows/doors when cooking as the smoke detector was very sensitive and went off a couple of times. Lastly it was a little difficult to find. Maybe instruction should indicate the house is behind the other house.

The house was updated and very lovely. It was close to town, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. I would however recommend updating the pillows in both bedrooms, they were not very comfortable. Also, the kitchen sink disposal is not working for our stay.

We loved the functional living space, well appointed kitchen, and private deck. Everything we could want to experience (hiking, biking, shopping & dining) was at our fingertips. Additionally, the WiFi was fast and reliable. My only recommendation is amenity related - the King bed pillows were not comfy and could use an upgrade. Lastly, the team at River Ridge Rentals were great; I so appreciated the helpful texts and reminders.

Compact Little Cottage in a Great Location

We originally chose the cottage because we needed a pet friendly rental. We were traveling to a wedding and brought our 8 lb Yorkie along with us. Breckenridge is a VERY dog friendly town. The French Street Cottage was perfect for us. It's small, but has everything we needed. It's within walking distance of everything in Breckenridge. It's in a quiet location, off the street. The cottage is furnished with comfortable furniture, updated kitchen appliances, and fully stocked with kitchen equipment. Everything was clean and well maintained. We never got the garage door opener to work, so we punched in the key code each time we needed to open it. But other than that, things worked fine. The master bedroom on the lower level has shades to darken the room, but they weren't dark enough to keep the neighbor's garage light from shining in all night long. Some blackout shades might be a good addition to that window. Allin all we enjoyed our week spent in the French Street Cottage and would definitely recommend it.

We were blown away by the quality of this property as well as its proximity to ski access and the town. If I didn't feel like walking to the gondola, the bus stop was just a block away. Don't get confused by the lack of vents (I did), the heat runs through the floors. Excellent winter getaway!

The Cottage is just brilliant, perfect for our family of four and our pup. Close to town and the gondola but so private and away from everyone which was so important to us right now. The responsiveness of the River Ridge Rental team was amazing and we would for sure stay here again.

The property looks newly updated with a modern vibe and the kitchen is a gourmet chefs dream. It is right downtown so we were able to just leave our suv at the cottage and walk to shops and restaurants. The snow sculptures were amazingrecommend going late January to see them! Thank you for letting us arrive earlier than the 4 pm check-in, which helped because we had our dog with us, so we were able to drop him off right when we got into town. One thing to know is that you wont see the front of the cottage from the road, as it is set back on the driveway, so look carefully for the side of the cottage. We would definitely stay here again.
